January 10, 2015I asked the question about Open Houses since they cannot be done other than your own office. We cannot do Open Houses for other offices. We have an app to use within our company to do Open Houses for another agent within the company. I asked what else could be done in place of Open House. The response I received was they would ask Jeff and get back to me and I did not get a response.
According to these videos you have to be working with an actual buyer to use the scripts. Correct? As far as investors from the MLS. They do not use our MLS an agent has their listing or trying to find homes to buy for them. How can you use the MLS looking for investors?

January 16, 2015Hi Donna, I asked an investor/agent friend and he said you can. I even tried to search on http://www.illinoisrealtor.org/legal/issues and couldn’t find an y business and profession code regarding “not being able to do Openhouses for other listing agents”.
If you can use the APP I would use the APP to do the open houses so you can start making a buyers list. Once you have a buyers list you can send emails to find out which listings on the MLS are the most motivated.
I do know agents who “fish” to see which listing agent is the most motivated THEN finds the buyer but we don’t recommend this practice.
For investors: An investor who is flipping will need to relist the property. Some may just relist themselves (if so you now have a buyer), others may list with an agent but now you have access to a buyer (indirectly) who is a bona-fide buyer. Did that help?
